Creativity was my first love.
I began college drawn to the world of fashion, captivated by beauty, design, and the creative process. I still remember sitting in class during a lecture on Ralph Lauren’s latest paisley pattern when a question quietly surfaced: “How will this help humanity?”
That question eventually led me toward psychology, only to discover years later that I had never really left creativity behind. It returned in a different form, as an essential part of how I understand healing, growth, and the many ways we find our way back to ourselves.
My understanding of depression is both clinical and personal. Having known its landscape myself, I understand the difference between knowing something intellectually and actually having to find your way through it.
I also bring a perspective shaped by many seasons of life, including profound change, uncertainty, and beginning again — which has given me a particular sensitivity to those whose lives have been shaped by displacement, cultural transition, or experiences that have altered their sense of safety and belonging.

I do not always see anxiety and depression
as symptoms to silence.
Sometimes they are signals that something within us has gone unheard for too long. I approach therapy with curiosity about what lies beneath our suffering.
